Eat Gluten Free in Las Vegas in 2022

Gluten Free Las Vegas!

In Part 1, I went over the fun things to see and do in Las Vegas. Now we talk drinks and gluten free food! Check out these yummy places to eat gluten free in Las Vegas!

  1.  Makers and Finders (Arts district) – Breakfast

This is a cute place to eat. We went to the location in the Arts District that was a bit closer to the Strip. They specialize in Latin Comfort Food and this place has a great variety of gluten free brunch options! They have other health options like the Impossible Sausage, Soyrizo, and Vegan options. I ordered their coffee with Eggs, Maple Bacon, and Potatoes and it was great! My family (who don’t have Celiacs) ordered mimosas and other non- gluten free options which they loved. You can sit inside or outside. I mentioned to our server about Celiacs and she took extra care to let the kitchen know. I would definitely go back.

          2.  Stripburger – Lunch

The burgers here are great! We came hungry and left satisfied. Stripburger is located off of Las Vegas Blvd. on Fashion Mall Dr. It’s part outside and part inside the mall. We walked down the street and right up to the outdoor area to be seated. It was a bit chilly but they had outdoor heaters. I ordered the Bacon & Cheddar Burger on a Gluten Free bun with Garlic Herb fries and let the server know I had Celiacs. The server said she’d let the kitchen know to cook my fries separately.  I wasn’t expecting that but greatly appreciated it! Both my burger and fries came with an allergy marker. I would definitely go back, if just for the fries alone. They have a good variety of burgers, chicken, fries, and shakes. They also have a happy hour you can enjoy.

3.       Nacho Daddy – Dinner/ Freemont Street

If you’re going to check out Freemont Street in downtown Las Vegas, you need to stop by Nacho Daddy for dinner. Nacho Daddy is a local restaurant and there are multiple locations. I must warn you the portion sizes are huge! Their menu has Gluten Free items labeled. We had Queso Dip as an appetizer and I think it’s the best queso I’ve ever had!! They have tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, and more but we went for their world-famous nachos. I had the Fiesta Nachos and added jalapenos. It was so good but couldn’t finish it. I recommend sharing an order of nachos. If you’d like an extra kick, you can try their scorpion shot. They are also open for brunch and have a brunch and kids menu available.

4.       Milk Bar – dessert

Located in The Cosmopolitan – Level 2, on the Las Vegas Strip is the bakery Milk Bar. They offer limited gluten free options in each category. They have cookies, truffles, birthday cakes, and ice cream. It is a bit pricy but if you’re in Vegas and want to treat yourself, this is a great place to do it.

5.       Ghost Donkey – Drinks

Las Vegas has several great speakeasies! One we hunted down and found was Ghost Donkey, located in The Cosmopolitan – Level 2. Look for a not so obvious door in the back with a picture of a donkey on it. The speakeasy specializes in Mezcal and Tequila. It’s a festively lit small bar. The capacity is 27 people and is open from 4pm to midnight. They have a small menu of snacks that include truffle nachos.

6.       The Velveteen Rabbit – Drinks

If you’re looking for a cool bar not too from the Strip, visit The Velveteen Rabbit, located on S. Main Street in the Arts District. If you’re driving, you’ll be happy to know they have their own small parking lot. I loved the velvet and eclectic décor. There’s plenty of room to sit inside or outside on the patio. We sat at the bar and chatted with a couple of the bartenders. They were friendly and funny. Overall, it was a great atmosphere and had a great time here!

Las Vegas is filled with many more places to eat gluten free and fun speakeasies to find. You can find places ranging from low to high price ranges which is perfect for any budget!

*One last note – A place I tried for breakfast and didn’t have a good experience was at The Eggs Works. I was excited because I saw they offered gluten free options but unfortunately there was either cross-contamination or they served me a regular waffle and sick for several days after. The restaurant was very busy and my server didn’t seem to be concerned when I mentioned my allergy. Maybe I caught him at a bad time, but just a heads up if you decide to head there to eat. This was just my personal experience and hope you have an awesome time where ever you eat!
