Get the Hawaiian experience in littl’ old Texas. Hawaiian Bros offers a variety of yummy Hawaiian choices like the Smoked Lual Pig. They have an online Allery List that lets you know what has wheat, gluten, soy, and other allergens so you can make the best choice when ordering.
If you’re having fun at the Magnolia Silos and craving grilled cheese, you’re in luck! Look for the Cheddarbox Food Truck to order some gluten-free grilled cheese sandwiches. Their tomato basil soup and kettle chips are also listed as gluten-free.
If you’re in need of breakfast tacos at anytime of day, look no further than Torchy’s tacos… or any kind of taco for that matter. They offer a gluten-conscious menu. When ordering the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on corn tacos, the server reminded me that it does contain soy. If that impacts your gluten-allergy that may be something you’ll want to ask about when ordering any items on the menu. Aside from breakfast, they have smoking brisket tacos, not a taco, and a variety of fun chips and dips!
Jake’s is a classic style restaurant with a variety of foods that has been around since 1985. Gluten-free options seem to be limited to a gluten-free bun for the burgers and cider. Although the fries are reported to be gluten-free as of now, there is no dedicated fryer.

The Magnolia Silos, created by HGTV’s JoAnna Gains, is a favorite place for a lot of people to visit while in Waco. While I was there, I visited their Silo Baking Co. and tried a few gluten-free items. They warn that there is risk of cross-contamination and unfortunately, I did have a reaction due to the cross-contamination. I don’t recommend for those with gluten allergies or Celiac Disease but you can still stop by for a drink. I really liked the containers for their bottled water and lemonade.
